SOPHIE THOMPSON has enjoyed a busy year working on a variety of theatre, TV and Film.

Sophie starred in the Semi-Autobiographical play "Present Laughter" at the Old Vic theatre. This revival of one of Noel Coward's most famous plays from the 30's as it follows the fictional Garry Essendine, and how he deals with his "mid-life crisis." For More information click here. 

She has also been filming an English indie called "The Creeping". Fictional Character "Anna" moves home to look after her ailing grandmother and soon finds herself fighting a malevolent supernatural presence with a dark secret. The movie is set to hit the big screen in 2021. 

Sophie is also starring in an E4 comedy called "Feel Good." The Series follows recovering addict and comedian Mae Martin, who is trying to control the addictive behaviours and intense romanticism that permeate every facet of her life. For more information click here.

Sophie is also currently filming a new three-part Comedy TV show "Sandylands" with David Walliams. The show follows 27-year-old Emily who is forced to reluctantly return to her hometown of Sandylands and her semi-estranged father Les Vegas. Filmed in Weston-super-mare, Sophie runs a seaside Bed-and-Breakfast with David, which is to include all the silly and ropey seaside shenaningans. Out later this year.
