Thusitha Jayasundera stars in BBC drama Doctor Foster

Tuesday 29th September 2015

Doctor Foster is proving to be a runaway hit. This BBC1 five part drama written by award winning playwright Mike Bartlett (King Charles III, The Town, Chariots of Fire) stars THUSITHA JAYASUNDERA as Ros Mahendra, a GP who works in the practice run by Doctor Foster.

Doctor Foster’s charmed life explodes when she suspects her husband of having an affair. Watching Dr Foster discovering secret after secret the viewer is left wondering how this accomplished woman will react. As they say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned – beware!

Thusitha has also just finished a play at the Finborough Theatre called My Eyes Went Dark. This play written and directed by Matthew Wilkinson is inspired by real events and tells the story of a Russian architect and father who is gripped by guilt and remorse having avenged the death of this family who died in a plane crash.

We look forward to watching Thusitha on Wednesday at 9pm on BBC1 in the next episode of Doctor Foster.
